Pyle PLMCA30 motorcycle bike speaker system demo installed on Yamaha Roadstar Silverado

www.amazon.com Just a brief demo of some speakers that I installed on my Yamaha. I really didn’t expect much from this kit as I see systems which cost multiple times the amount with very similar specifications, so what could this kit possible bring to the table at the budget price point it’s currently going for? Plus as I’m thinking of selling the bike that I put these on, I really didn’t want to spend the earth. I have to say though I’m very happy with both the kit’s contents, the look and build of the speakers and the actual audio that pours out of them. I have made this quick video which will better demonstrate the set up. Please note that the stereo effect and loudness is lost on this video but let me assure you these are very loud and sound great with no distortion until you turn it up to 100% and then it’s minimal as you will hear in the video. At highway speeds of 70+ you can still hear them although you have to have them turned up quite high. When you come to a stop you realize just how loud they are though – obnoxiously loud at full whack! So I used a fuse tap (if you search for fuse tap you’ll find lots of them for pennies) to hook the amp directly to the wiring harness of the bike and I ground it to the frame – both spade and ground connector were supplied. It is is important that you don’t just hook the kit up to the battery as you don’t want the amp bleeding it dry during downtime, and an amp at 200 Watts wouldn’t take long to drain it at all. So either add
